Global Ambassador Concierge has been founded by senior Global Travel and Tourism Industry leaders with in-depth experience in travel related services related to world-class service and luxury service management. The mission of the management team is to assure the resources and expertise are in place to facilitate the highest caliber of service available to our customers.
Vincent A. Wolfington, Founder and Chairman
Mr. Wolfington is the immediate Past Chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, a role he held from 2004 through 2006. He is former Chairman of the Board and CEO of Carey International, Inc., a worldwide chauffeured vehicle services company. During his tenure at Carey, Mr. Wolfington was responsible for its expansion to over 480 cities and 75 countries under an internationally recognized brand name that has become synonymous with world-class service. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Travel Business Roundtable and the Travel Industry Association of America. Mr. Wolfington has also served as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Center for Strategic & International Studies as well as a member of its International Board of Counselors, chaired by Henry Kissinger. In addition, he has served Georgetown University in various capacities for over 30 years, including as a Trustee and as a founder of the George F. Baker Scholarship Program.
Mark A. Wolfington, Founder and President
Mr. Wolfington is a founder and former CFO of Air Chef Holdings, LLC, which provides catering and concierge services to private aircraft in 27 cities in the United States, Mexico and Europe. He is also the President of MAV Ventures LLC, a private investment company. Prior to forming MAV Ventures, he was the COO of Casino Money Centers, Inc. and the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at CRW Financial, Inc., a public holding company for service businesses, and its subsidiaries. During his career, he has developed significant expertise in the areas of operations, finance, marketing, strategic planning and investor relations in high-end service businesses. Mr. Wolfington graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors Degree in History.
Cheng Hsiao, Managing Director - Shanghai
Mr. Hsiao is one of the founders who joined Mr. Wolfington in the development of the Global Ambassador Concierge program. A Chinese American with a profound understanding of the cultures of both countries, Mr. Hsiao relocated to China to execute the Global Ambassador Concierge program. Prior to moving to Shanghai, he was the Maitre d' and General Manager of Morton's The Steakhouse. He opened several Morton's across the U.S. and the one in Hong Kong. During his eight years at Morton's, he held various management positions in marketing, strategy, general management, customer relationships and logistics. He has over 14 years experience as a professional manager in the hospitality and tourism industry. He is a graduate of Florida International University with a Master's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Vivian Sun, Managing Director - Beijing
Ms. Sun is a citizen of China and resides in Beijing. Ms. Sun was the Publisher and Editor in Chief of China Travel and Tourism-100 Best. She is also the Founder and Managing Director of Startermc, a branding and marketing strategy services firm. Ms. Sun has extensive experience in film and TV advertising as well as an editor and marketer of the China Tourism Newspaper from 2003-2006. She has a degree from Shenyang Education University, has studied public administration management at the University of Missouri and has studied for an MBA at the University of Maryland.
